CANDIDATE PROFILE
Open to any nationality
Male/Female, 45 years old and below

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Must be a qualified professional accountant – ACCA
Minimum of 9-12 years of total work experience with at least 5-7 years in financial planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting and 3-5 years from an Oil & Gas industry is a must
Must know the different models used in budgeting and planning
Authorization For Expenditure (AFE) is a must
Skills in funding status for contracts is important
Strong and latest IFRS knowledge; and KPIS skills is required
Experience in using Maximo and Sun System is preferred
Proficient with using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
With demonstrated financial analysis and modeling skills
Strong written and verbal communication with an extensive analytical mindset and excellent business acumen
Extensive analytical skills in General Ledger review

JOB DESCRIPTION
Budgeting and Business Plan:
Work under the supervision of the Team Lead in preparation of Business Plan and Annual Budget
Liaise with Budget Responsible Officers (BROs) for the preparation of department-wise Budget templates and consolidate inputs
Prepare the 5 Year Work Program inclusive of the Annual Budget based on the data received from the various BROs and their teams

Financial Analysis and Cost Control:
Must be experienced in executing budget plans
Prepare Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) for Capex/Non-Routine Opex Expenditure projects
Review Purchase Requisitions (PRs) to ensure all PRs are within the approved budget for Routine Expenditure and/or approved AFEs
Manage the Funding Status for contracts – important that are proposed for Tenders and Contracts Committee approval

Monthly Closing and Reporting:
Ensure financial integrity by conducting complete GL review and internal controls check as part of monthly closing activity
Support the Finance Team in preparation of month-end accruals
Prepare reports based on forecast
Prepare monthly cost control reports
Define KPIs related to cost

Financial Audit and Other Ad-hoc
Prepare audit schedules and co-ordinate with auditors of cost verification, analysis and testing

Skills
Proficient with using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
