Duties and responsibilities
Implement centralised purchase process and later on the auto replenishment process
Supplier negotiation for promotion
Supplier negotiation for listing and annual agreements
Coordinate with stock audit team.
Negotiations with suppliers about new items range with best price and exclusive promotion as per company terms & condition as professionally.
Review existing and new product performance on a weekly and monthly basis based on GP ranking data and amend the range as appropriate.
Passing Purchase orders based on Stock Position.
Ensuring the products delivered on time.
Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers while seeking new ones.
Price revision and Cost Amendments.
Introduction of new products based on market study.
Product selection for leaflet promotion.
Preparing Reports to Management.
Confirming and approving the draft copy of documents from the suppliers.
Communicating with the suppliers on any short receiving or receiving product with damage.
Carrying out direct, phone or email interactions with customers whenever necessary.

Must be a graduate and having minimum 5 years experience in supermarket purchase.
