Senior Mechanical Engineer – Inspire Integrated Services L.L.C.

Responsible for the property management support and maintenance of a high rise building facility and all equipment. Assisting with attending to reactive calls, technical compliance checks for scheduled preventative routine, reactive maintenance tasks and be on call as required of Inspire Integrated under the terms of the contract with the client.
Take ownership of high priority RM tasks to ensure they are completed efficiently and correctly.
Assist the Engineering Unit Head by conducting root cause analysis, compilation of technical data, engineering studies, statutory compliance checks,
Ensure that all technical labour is fully utilised and are giving good output with high productivity.
Managing pending jobs – Daily review and closing out of outstanding tasks, prioritise tasks that may miss their SLA’s in order to maintain compliance.
Hold weekly meetings with Supervisors and the Maintenance Team Leader to discuss progress and problems faced, feedback issues to management for further assistance.
Review weekly operational reports to ensure accuracy and use the results to achieve future improvements.
Troubleshoot defects on all systems without supervision and provide root cause analysis
Ensure that site OHS and company QA systems are implemented and maintained.
Raising quotations – Compiling scope of work, bill of quantities and technically reviewing the quotations when they arrive, transfer quotations into MPX format and submit to Office Manager to administer and issue to the client.
Chaperone contractors when they visit site to quote for work to clarify the scope, answer any questions to ensure that all information is provided and quotation meets our requirements.
Sub-contractor coordination relating to work within own zone in order to meet deadlines and safety standards.
Preparation of completion certificates and submission to the client for signature.
Technical support to the Maintenance Team Leader, Supervisors and Technicians as and when necessary.
Carry out routine inspections to ensure quality of work delivered by staff and sub-contractors, look for industry standard working practices.
Respond to emergency situations during and after normal working hours and assist in a quick and efficient resolution.
Regularly inspect the site and feedback findings to Supervisors and Team Leaders to ensure issues are resolved and closed out, any repeat findings are escalated to the Facilities Manager.
Provide coverage to the Maintenance Team Lead or Supervisors for short periods of absence
Provides accurate information for submission in client monthly reports.
Any other tasks requested by the Facilities Manager.
Required to cover the duties and responsibilities of all MEP services dependant on shift pattern
Required to work shift and hours to suit the operational needs
Health & Safety Responsibilities:
Direct or attend training/TBT/briefings on a regular basis/as applicable
Be aware of work place hazards/environmental aspects and controls.
Ensure to conduct your duties in a safe manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
In particular, staffs are encouraged to take reasonable care of themselves and others and report any unsafe acts/condition to their line manager/HSE representative without delay.
Be aware of and adhere to the company policies and procedures posted on the notice boards or as communicated via tool box talks or HSE briefings.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment for the type of work being performed.
Be aware of responsibilities and actions in case of emergency circumstances.
Report any accident/incident/near misses immediately to line manager/HSE representative without delay, carry out initial investigation and be available to support any further investigation as necessary.
Create awareness of and contribute towards zero accidents/incidents.
Always ask if in doubt stop the task immediately, seek assistance and report to their immediate line manager.
10 years minimum experience on mechanical systems, 7 years electrical/extra low voltage experience
High rise buildings
Power distribution systems.
HVAC and DX systems
BMS system operation and maintenance.
Plumbing and lifts.
CAFM and Autocad Software.
Experience in commissioning, or witnessing of the commissioning process on one or more of the aforementioned systems.
